Question:

Hi, I have boat trailer with a hydraulic brake actuator. Every time I accelerate from a stop I hear clunk noise. I assume I need new Damper Shocks. The information stamped on the actuators is: Model DA-10 123 Max Gross Load 10,000 Dethmers Mfg. Co. Boyden Iowa I could not find the brand. Demco, Titaan, ? From this can you tell me the part number of the Damper Shocks that would work for my application. Thanks.

The DA10 actuator you've got is a Demco, who have their headquarters in Boyden, IA and we do have a replacement shock damper available for that actuator with the Replacement Shock for Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuators - Models DA10, DA16, DA20, and DA91 # DS12426. This should help reduce some of the clanking and chucking you're getting back there and get your actuator back in good working condition.
