While you will have enough space between the crossbars as well as enough room on your roof to fully open the rear hatch on your 2020 Ford Escape with the Rola Roof Cargo Basket model 59504, another factor that will determine the fit is the width and height of the crossbars themselves. For your crossbars to fit the Rola basket, your crossbars must not exceed dimensions of 1-1/4" tall and 3-1/4" wide. For this measurement, I recommend measuring the crossbars currently mounted on your vehicle.
