Can I open my tailgate with dis rack?

The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # TH903202 will allow you to open the tail gate most of the way but not fully when in the tilted position. The tilt away feature on most racks were designed for rear hatch or trunk type doors that lift up and not for truck tailgates that fold down.
