can the 66 inch hold two kayaks?

The Yakima Rack and Roll trailer # Y08106 can hold 2 kayaks. If you are placing them directly on the bars as long as combined they are not more than 66 inches wide then they will fit directly on the bars.
But what I recommend is to use the Thule Stacker, # TH830, on the trailer to hold the 2 Kayaks on their sides. This will ensure you have enough space for both kayaks. I have included a link to the installation details for the Stacker for you. I have also included a link to a video review of the Rack and Roll trailer.
If your kayaks are more than 16 feet long then you will need to use the tongue extension # Y08109 which will allow you to carry boats up to 21 feet long (when carrying 2 at the same time).
