Question:

I want to use in 2018 F350 with 8foot bed, but want the extra room at the foot for gear, not one that takes up the whole truck bed. Will this model match up at the wheel wells, but leave that extra room? Thank you,

I have a great solution for you. Even though the AirBedz Lite Truck Bed Air Mattress w/ Portable 12V Pump - 76" Long - Green - 8' Bed # 341008 will match up with the wheel wells on your 2018 Ford F-350's 8-Foot Bed, you will not have a lot of room near the tailgate for extra gear you wish to transport.

With that being said, I recommend purchasing the 20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs # C18151. The great thing about the Curt Cargo Carrier is that you will be able to use your tailgate with the carrier attached. If you go this route, you will need the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - Flush - 2-5/8" Span - Chrome # e98880. If you need something that will keep your gear secure during transport, I recommend the Curt Stretchable Cargo Net # C18202.
