How Much Does the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat # BMH17RBS Weigh?

Question:

I have a 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E. I installed an aftermarket LOMAX trifold bed cover that I really like. The trunk lid will not quite open all the way because it bumps into the rails for the bed cover. BUT, it opens plenty wide to use it like it is supposed to be used and it stays open without having to use something to prop it up in place. My question is: if I install your 2-piece bed rug, will the trunk lid stay open by itself or will it need to be propped open? I have no idea how much the portion of the bed mat for the trunk weighs - if I did, then I could do some testing on my own to see if the trunk lid will stay open. FYI, I currently use a cheap expandable shower rod to keep stuff from shifting around in the bed but that doesnt look too cool in a new Ridgeline truck! Thank you.

The combined weight of both pieces of the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat - Bed Floor Cover for Trucks with Bare Beds or Spray-In Liners # BMH17RBS is about 8 pounds. With this information, one of the things you can do is find something that weighs 8 pounds (with using a scale) and place it on your 2020 Honda Ridgeline's trunk to test it.
