Quiet Electric Winch Options

Question:
I am looking for a winch to use for a dumb waiter from an outdoor balcony to the deck below. I would like to know if this unit is fairly quiet or squeals loudly like a lot of other models. I plan to use a good quality paracord rather than the steel or synthetic rope.

The Bulldog Utility Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 2,500 lbs # BD54FR, like any other winch with wire rope, will be somewhat noisy. You may be able to install your own rope in the Bulldog winch to make it somewhat quiet, but the motor will still make some noise.
A better option may be the Bulldog Winch Powersports Series ATV Winch - Synthetic Rope - Hawse Fairlead - 2,000 lbs # BDW15010 which has the quiet synthetic rope. You can add wireless remote # BDW20099 to this winch.
Keep in mind, you will need a 12v power source for these winches. I attached a demonstration video for you to check out.
