We have several hinge pins like # HP412G that I have linked for you, but it sounds like you need actual springs. We have some heavy duty ramp springs like # RS16933RH and # RS16933LH if you happen to have a heavy duty equipment trailer like what they haul tractors and other large equipment on.
For an open utility trailer you may be able to use a tailgate assist like # RA-27C. Or for an enclosed trailer we have springs that are similar to garage door systems. I have linked those as well. Installation of these system requires a professional because the torsion springs can be dangerous. A local garage door company could perform the installation.
