Question:

Is this the correct hitch for Volvo XX 40 2020. What other items do I need if I am having a mechanic install? A friend mentioned that I may want to reconsider not buying and installing at Volvo due to possibly ha I g my warranty cancelled due to after market part. I am also worried about wiring.. is this something that experienced mechanics can complete. Was not sure with all the wiring, cameras, etc on the Volvo. Also, will this support hauling a trailer and scooter 360 pounds?

The Stealth Trailer Hitch part # SH77FR is a great option for a 2020 Volvo XC40. It will not void any warranties as per the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. It comes with everything needed for the actual hitch portion.

If you are towing then you'll also need a wiring harness and for this I recommend the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - 2" Ball # SH36FR. It comes with wiring and will not interfere with any of the integrated sensors or cameras.
