I have the Helium Pro which uses these and needed to remove it to replace a sway cradle. No mortal earthling can remove these end caps. After only a year, they refuse to budge after removing the screw. The solution was to cut a 1 1/4" hole near the edge of a piece of 1/2" plywood and then cut the hole open so it makes an opening shaped like an archway. That will slip over the tube and sit behind the end cap. The rest is work done by a 12oz or greater hammer and it still takes a few good whallops and a sturdy bench.
