Furrion Side Marker Camera Location On Trailer

Updated 05/26/2021 | Published 05/24/2021

Question:

I have noticed these are installed on the side marker lights that are a little higher middle of the storage doors on travel trailers or 5th wheels. My trailer which is a keystone hideout 28bhswe has the marker lights placed a little lower on trailer. Would this effect the camera angles, view, etc negatively? You'll be fine having the side marker cameras on your Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras - 5" Screen # FCE48TASL-05 at a lower level like where your current side marker lights are. If you look at the attached videos, you'll see the side marker cameras are attached about 1.5' above where yours would be.

The cameras are not angled vertically but are angled a little bit away from the side of the camper so you'll barely be able to see the side of the trailer and might see a little bit more of the ground than then upper portion of the side wall. If you find they are too low, you can cut a hole in the wall higher up and run the wiring from that side marker light up to the new spot to power your camera.
