Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Where Running Lights and Turn Signal Stopped Working

Question:
After installing a new trailer lighting kit on my boat trailer, the right light only has running lights. The turn signal and stop lights dont work. I have a 2016 Silverado so Im wondering if its a relay? I tried it on my sons trailer with the same results. What am I missing?

It's very possible it's a blown trailer wiring fuse or relay like you mentioned but typically this problem is just corrosion on the trailer wiring pins that needs to be cleaned off and once that's done the connection is allowed to pass through and the problem goes away.
