Larger Door Replacement For Furrion Tankless Water Heater

Question:
I bought a furion tankless hot water heater and told them my opening was 16 inch by 16 inch. It had a suburban hot water heater... the tankless is so much smaller than my opening... the tankless heater is roughly 14 by 14.... I can ruff cut lumber to take up the two inch space and make it fit... my problem is... could I trade out the 16 inch door for and 18 inch.... then I believe my problem would be solved... the sixteen inch door leaves a gap in the four corners because of the curve at the corners ugh.....

You certainly can switch out the 16" door with an 18" with the Replacement Access Door for Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - 18" x 18" # FR73FR.
