RV Ceiling Fan Mount With Well Nuts

Question:
Ive located two aluminum roof rafters that I plan to span with a finished piece of hardwood for fan mounting. My question is: are well nuts enough to mount the hardwood to the rafters?

When mounting your East Seventeen # 344410TSDC36BNOKCY fan you can use any connector rated for the weight load presented. Typically well nuts do not have the same strength as other fasteners, but I can certainly see the advantage with a fan that might be prone to transmitting vibrations. Just make sure they are sized appropriately.
