Attaching The Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier To Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars

Question:

I read where you said a t-bolt can be used instead of the wrap around clamps to attach the Hullavator Pro to the Wingbar EVO. I would prefer to do this and not have to cut the rubber inside the channel. What size t-bolt do I need to get and what kind of nut on the other end?

The Thule WingBar Evo crossbars do not require you to cut the rubber inside the channel at all; the rubber simply separates when you push into the channel so you don't have to worry about that. You can install the Thule Hullavator # TH898 by using the included clamps or by using the included T-bolts which install into the channel. You do not need to buy anything else since the Hullavator comes with all the necessary hardware to install it.
