Attaching Yakima Accessory Bar To OffGrid Basket

Question:
Can this crossbar be used on the very back end of the cargo basket? Not the top but the rear bars that slope downward. Thank you!

While the Yakima Accessory Bar for 40" Wide Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket, part # Y07353, will attach to the rear bars that slope downward it is not recommended by Yakima. If installed in this manner you will not be able safely mount any accessories. I have a attached a picture below to show the recommended installation point.
