Question:

Hi, seems like the Thule Raceway Pro 3 bikes is discontinued on the Thule website, is that right? You recommend it on your website as the best fit for a 2012 Chevy Volt. Is that still your opinion? I find this carrier on Ebay and Kijiji here in Canada but doubt now that it wont cause an issue on my car. Please confirm your advice. Thanks.

I have a trunk-mount bike rack that will fit your 2012 Chevrolet Volt, but Thule Raceway PRO 2-Bike Rack TH9001PRO is a discontinued product. I highly recommend going with the Thule Gateway Pro 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount # TH78VR. This is a very nice adjustable bike rack that has an integrated cable lock to keep your bikes safe and secured to the rack.

Soft foam pads surround the contact points so that your paint finish is always protected from getting scratched. If you plan on transporting women's, children's, or full-suspension bikes then you will also need to grab an adapter bar such as # RRRBCA021. This will keep the oddly-shaped bike frames secured to the carrier. I attached a couple demonstration videos for you.
