Question:

I have a Roadmaster Sterling RM-576 tow bar and I need to buy a baseplate for my 2020 Chevy Equinox. Which one will work with that tow bar, a direct connect or other?

For your 2020 Chevy Equinox, the base plates that you will need to use with your Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-576 are the crossbar style, and the correct fit for your 2020 Equinox is the following:

- Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-523193-4

The reason why is that the direct-connect aren't compatible with the crossbar of the Sterling, and the anchor brackets for the Sterling cables will not fit.
