Question:

I have a 2013 Lexus rx350. Can I put 2 33” wide 65 pound 10’ feel free moken kayaks side by side using these carriers. I have 150 pound carlogic crossbars that I probably need to upgrade. Thank you

I doubt you will be able to use two on the roof at the same time but measure to ensure. The Malone SeaWing Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs, # MPG107MD is just under 28" wide. If you mount this as close to the outside of your vehicles crossbars as possible, I think the inside edge of your kayak will be about 20 inches inboard. I think you will need about 40" between the mounting points of your crossbars to even consider using two.

I suggest using the Yakima BigStack Roof Mounted 2 Kayak Carrier System, # Y04041. The post-style mount carries 2 kayaks on edge, securing to your roof-rack crossbars and folding flat when not in use. Reinforced steel construction and padding on the post protect your boat, and included straps secure boats safely to the rack.
