The Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel # DEX54FR is a powder coated black wheel. The finish is a gloss black as powder coating only refers to the process in which the paint is applied.
Powder Coating is done by giving the material a negative charge and covering it with a positively charged powder that will stick to the material. The item is then baked in an oven to create a strong durable finish. The paint material has a stronger bond to the material than regular paint with this process.
