I recommended the 7-Way Molded Connector w/ 15' Cable - Trailer End # 50-67-103 which will replace the 7-way connector on your 2013 Forest River 300BH but it is a little longer than you were needing. You can cut the extra wire off to get the exact length you are needing.

The color of wiring is not standardized, but the yellow wire is the center pin and while it is typically used for reverse lights it can be used for any other function you need as long as the wiring on your tow vehicle matches. The functions of the # 50-67-103 are as follows:

Yellow wire is reverse lights/AUX
Black wire is 12v power
Brown wire is right side turn/stop
Blue wire is brake controller output
White wire is ground
Red wire is left side turn/stop
Green wire is tail lights and running lights.
