Is the quality of the Bargman insulation any better than the Hopkins as it ages

A standard Bargman 7-Way cable like the 11' part # HM20048 will have a similar quality as the Hopkins equivalent.
If you're wanting something a bit more durable then I recommend the Bargman 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 6' Heavy Duty Insulated Cable # 54006-057. This wiring actually comes with a 1-year limited warranty which initially doesn't sound great but for the world of wiring it's pretty good.
