Question:
Looking for pull out cable lock for older Thule hitch mount bike rack. The end that slides in the lock slid out while the rack was folded down. It ground off the pavement. Now it no longer holds in the lock. This rack is probably from 2003-2004

I'm guessing you likely have the Thule Expressway, as that is the only Thule hitch-mounted bike rack from that time period which had a cable lock. The replacement cable lock has long been discontinued for that rack, so while you can still add a locking cable for your bikes it wouldn't be one that mounts in the rack.
What you can do is add a different cable lock and just use that for security for your bikes, and you can choose whichever one has the right length for your needs.
