i hook the item 57101 to my truck with the electric brake on my 2001 chevy silverado the way your vido shows and the alarm goes off all the time when putting on the brake to putting on the lights not sure what to do the two blue wire is what added from the front of truck for trailer brakes thank

It sounds like there is a problem inside the connector that plugs into the Curt Trailer Connector # C57101.
I recommend using a Circuit Tester # PTW2991 on the 7-way plug and seeing if power is being sent to the reverse lug on the 7-way when you push the brakes or turn on the lights. Be sure to check the ground connections as well when you test the circuit. If you find that there is power going to the reverse circuit when there shouldn't you will want to remove the connector on the 7-way and test the wiring from the truck to see if it is a defective item or if the wiring may be exposed inside the vehicle connector.
