This Bulldog Winch # BDW15018 has a static weight capacity of 3400 lbs so it will be plenty strong to lift 600 lbs of dead weight. Since you're hoisting something up you may want to get the wireless remote that will work with the winch # BDW20212. This way you don't have to worry about another cable and remote.
