Unfortunately, the MaxxTow MaxxHaul Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack MT70232 will not work with a tonneau cover. Although, there are some options that will work for you depending on your bed size and whether you have a utili-track system. Once I have these specifications, I would love to help you find one that fits with a tonneau cover!

We do have a way that will allow you to attach a ladder to your vehicle while still having a tonneau cover, but The MaxxTow MaxxHaul Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack MT70232 is not compatible with a tonneau cover. Typically, tonneau covers and ladder racks will use the same points on the truck's bed rails for installation. The various manufacturers of these aftermarket items do not test fit their products with each other's accessory items. Some soft tonneau covers do not cover the tops of the bed rails, but their installation hardware (front-to-back rails) will still need to attach to the inside edges of the bed rails where there will be unavoidable interference with the ladder rack attachment hardware. With that being said, some tonneau covers work with some ladder racks. If the cover is completely inside the bed rails and the rack installs in the stake pockets, they might work together. However, I do recommend the Rhino-Rack T-Load # RTL002. This will definitely allow you to attach a ladder to a 2-inch hitch while still keeping the truck bed clear for the tonneau cover. If you go this route, you will need a Pin and Clip for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches # PC3.
