Replacement Controller for Brake Buddy Select 3

Question:

Can I use my break buddy classic in my jeep without the monitor inside the cab it’s broke and I’m needing to make a trip

I spoke to the technicians over at Hopkins and the Brake Buddy Select 3 # HM39524 will still work without the controller. The accelerometer that actuates the braking system is located in the actual braking box itself. That being said, you will not be able to adjust the intensity of the brakes or have the manual override function. I suggest replacing the controller # HM39505 at you earliest convenience.
