Will The Yakima SlimShady Awning Fit Toyota 4Runner Factory Roof Rack?

My 4Runner comes with a Yakima Roof basket. Would this Yakima slim shady awning mount to my basket?

The Yakima SlimShady Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Clamp On - 30 Sq Ft # Y56VR is made to clamp around crossbars and does not fit onto any cargo baskets. There are no awnings available that fit your cargo basket, but if you remove the basket then the Yakima SlimShady Awning should fit your factory crossbars. You will want to make sure you have a crossbar spread of at least 24"; crossbar spread is the distance from the center of one crossbar to the center of the next crossbar as seen in the attached photo.
