How Level Does EverChill Refrigerator Need to Be During Operation

Question:

Does the Everchill model WD-282FWDC need to be level to operate? I will be parking my RV on a bit of a hill for a couple of days while it is operation, will that be problematic?

Just like a standard household refrigerator, the Everchill RV Refrigerator # 324-000119 that you referenced should be as level as possible to avoid fluid accumulation that can affect its operation. Refrigerators like this one should be within 3 degrees off level side-to-side and 6 degrees off level front-to-back. Generally speaking if the RV/trailer is level enough for your comfort it is likely okay for the refrigerator too.

The Everchill refrigerator does feature adjustable front legs that allow you to better level the unit.

Where can I purchase a level control that will shut off my refrigerator if the RV is not level enough for operation? Thanks, Dave

@DaveA I am not sure that exists. The closest option I have for you to help keep your refrigerator level is the Hopkins Electronic LED Smart Level for RVs and Trailers item # HM08201. It won't shut your fridge off but it will help you get your trailer level.
