Question:
I have an older version of a Thule hanging bike rack with rubber straps. I have been having problems with the straps coming off and leaving the bike exposed from falling off. I wanted to find out the diameter size of this particular cradle to determine if its possible to switch out my old cradles for these. I also plan on getting the straps that are associated with the cradle, only if its possible, for I believe it will secure the bike better.

The Replacement Anti-Sway Cradle # 1500056002 has a diameter of 1-1/4". This is specifically made for the Thule Helium Pro bike rack models # TH9042PRO and # TH9043PRO. If you can provide which model bike rack you have then I can find a solution for you since I do not recommend trying to use cradles that are not designed for your specific bike rack.
