Needing a Replacement Bulb for Light Fixture for Kitchen Cabinet Lights
Updated 03/18/2021 | Published 03/15/2021 >
Question:
I am looking to replace several halogen light bulbs with LED bulbs located in the kitchen as under the cabinet lights in a house. The bulbs that need replaced are the Kichler 10574CLR. They are 18W, 12.8V T5 Wedge glass with a WED5 socket type. I am trying to stick close to the 5000K lights to match the main lights. I came up with these lights Item # DI64ZR as a potential replacement. Would these work for this application? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The # DI64ZR should work in your situation. Just keep in mind this light is designed to be run off of 10V-30V applications. If you connect this light to the power in your house it will blow the light unless you have a voltage restrictor on the fixture.
