Question:

Volvo XC40, yr 2020 with Thule Wingbar Evo 118 47. Need two sets of kayak carriers. Will the Thule Hull a Port Aero work on this crossbar and/or will two sets of Hull a Port XT J hook work? Thanks

Two sets of the Thule Hull-a-Port Aero # TH849000 would work with your existing roof rack. Either carrier would clamp to your WingBar Evo roof Rack

This being said, have you looked at the Thule # TH890000 Compass kayak carrier? This option would allow you to carry 2 kayaks weighing up to 75 lb single/130 lb combined on end. The upright can fold down, which would allow you to carry 1 kayak or 2 SUP's. With the upright raised, you can carry 2 kayaks.

This carrier would offer more flexibility at a lower cost. The carriers mentioned include straps to secure the kayaks to the carrier as well as bow/stern tie-downs.
