Question:

Hi - 2016 Ford F-150 SuperCrew. Im looking for a ladder rack pref silver alum to carry TWO 9.5 long, 32 wide 64 ttl edge to edge of cargo within the cargo stops. Each weighs 50 lbs. Recreational. I have a BakFlip cover. I will be towing a travel trailer so I dont want them just inside the bed. Easy to install. The kayaks were under $400ea so I am hesitant to spend same or more for rack - but also want to not be a risk on the road. Options?

The most economical ladder rack that will still allow you to use your inside-the-rail bed cover on your 2016 Ford F-150 is the Adarac Aluminum Series Truck Bed Ladder Rack. If you have a bed cover that mounts on top of the bed rails instead of inside the bed rails then you will not be able to install a ladder rack without removing the bed cover.

For 5-1/2' bed the correct ladder rack is Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4001234.
For 6-1/2' bed the correct ladder rack is Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4001221.
For 8' bed the correct ladder rack is Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4001222.

These ladder racks have a 500lb weight capacity and 66" long crossbars which will be exactly what you need. The crossbars have a handy top channel that allows many accessories to be easily installed or removed. You may also want to add Load Stops Qty 2 # A4000880 and Aluminum Tie-Downs Qty 4 # A4000882 to help secure your load to the crossbars. I included a couple demonstration videos for you to check out.
