I’m considering purchasing your 311-SWFA30A61 I saw that you also carry a tailgate seal. Is that seal necessary to go along with the cover.

The Pace Edwards Switchblade Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-SWFA30A61 you were looking at for your 2020 Ford Ranger with the 5' bed has a built in seal the closes the gap between the cover and tailgate to prevent most water from getting in.
You could absolutely add the Pace Edwards WeatherGate Tailgate Seal # 311-WG2001 to make the seal better, but it is definitely not required.
