Question:
Hello, I am looking at purchasing a coupler that will go to a small utility trailer and am wondering if there is anything out there that is less than the 2 in bolt on size. not the ball size, but the shaft that the coupler would be attached to. Is there anything out there?

There isn't a trailer coupler for a channel any smaller than 2 inches. You could still use a standard coupler for a 2 inch channel, but what you would have to do is fabricate and weld on spacers to the tongue in order to mount it.
If you did that you would be able to use a standard channel coupler like the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler - 1-7/8" Ball # CT-2001-Z or the Curt QuickPin No-Latch Trailer Coupler for 2" Ball # C82CR.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of trailer couplers to check out if you were needing a different size or type.
