Does the c56175 kit have a power wire the needs to be run to the front of the car?

The # C56175 does not feature a powered converter box, so no power wire is present on the harness. If you have a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, however, I would actually recommend using the # 118508 harness instead.

The # 118508 does have a power wire, but this is actually a feature that protects your vehicle's wiring system and puts less strain on it, since power is pulled directly from the battery instead of your tail light circuits. In addition to protecting the vehicle's wiring better, it would also be much easier to install because it would just plug in to your tail light wiring on either side of the vehicle. The power wire is easily run along the frame and into the engine compartment if you locate and follow the factory wiring, which will take the most ideal route.

The # C56175 harness requires all connections to be made with splice connectors which will be more labor intensive, and it is a universal application so the instructions will not be specific for your vehicle. You will have to test your tail light wiring to determine where each wire from the harness gets connected.
