Charger Recommendation for RV with 6 Volt Battery Bank

Updated 02/24/2021 | Published 02/22/2021

Question:

Hello, I have two 6V AGM batteries in my camper that are serially connected to make 12v. Now I need to store it away for a long term. What is the best way to keep the batteries charged? I was told that some trickle chargers can’t be used in serially connected situation. Which specific trickle charger do you recommend in my situation? Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:

For a battery bank charger that is compatible with 6 volt battery banks like yours you could use the NOCO Genius Multi Bank Charger part # NOC57FR which you'd run to each battery to charge them individually. This would give each of your batteries the best charge so that when it's time to use the RV again they'd be the healthiest.

I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
