Adding suspension enhancement products like # SSA1 will prolong the life of the factory suspension (provided that it is in good working condition when the system is installed). But if you exceed the capacities of the truck and/or the suspension enhancement used then that is going to take its toll on the vehicle and could still lead to failure.
What suspension enhancement does is assist the factory suspension so it does not have to work as hard. That is why it prolongs the suspension life. It also works to help keep the vehicle level when carrying heavy loads. This will help with braking, steering, and stability when carrying heavy loads.
I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
