Question:
Hello, I need to replace my axel. i want to increase to the 3500lb with a 45 degree. I was told that my current axel is an alto. I am also thinking about putting breaks on the camper. Can you help me identify those parts, please? Thank you

I do have a solution for your axle. It looks like you have a torsion axle on your 1990 Aliner Camper, which we do not carry. I recommend going with an axle-less suspension setup. This will replace your current axle and suspension. If you are wanting a 3,500lb rated axle then you can go with Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System Straight Spindle # A35RS545 or go with Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System 4" Drop Spindle # A35RD545 which has 4" drop for lower ground clearance. These suspension setups will bolt-on or weld-on to your trailer's frame. If there is no crossmember above the suspension, you can easily add support to your trailer's frame by inserting 2-inch steel tubing through the hole on each suspension unit and then bolting the tubing into place.
You can then install Electric Trailer Brake Kit 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA, which will bolt on to either Timbren Suspension setups mentioned above. Use Mounting Hardware # BRKH10B to install the brake kit. Finally, you can install Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3.5K E-Z Lube Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K onto the brake kit.
This will give you a 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern, which my research tells me is the lug pattern that you need in order to use your factory wheels. If you need new wheels/tires I recommend going with combo kit Karrier ST175/80R13 # AM31985 for 13", combo kit Karrier ST205/75R14 # AM32153 for 14", or combo kit Provider ST205/75R15 # MX57FR for 15".
I have attached demonstration videos for these products.
