None of our manufacturers list a fit for the 1985 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler, but I can provide you a photo showing the bolt hole spacing for the Curt # 13412 hitch for the 1985 CJ-5. You can compare those dimensions with the holes in the rear crossmember to see if the hitch would be compatible.
The Curt # C13315 you'd looked at is a fit for a 2013-2018 Mazda CX-5, and wouldn't be a fit.
