2017 Nissan Versa Note Roof Rack by Rhino Rack & Kayak Carrier

Question:

Hi, Im trying to figure out how to install two kayak racks on my Nissan Versa Note hatchback, but I feel like I keep hitting dead ends. I know I would need bars as well as kayak racks, but Im afraid most bars say theyre not suitable to carry kayaks. Can you advise on products?

Hi, yes I have a great suggestion for what you are looking for, the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Bar, part # RRVA118B-2.

You will need the legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLKVA and the Fit Kit # DK382.

For your kayak's, I suggest the Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs; this is a J-Style folding design # S512-S512X with a weight capacity of 110 lbs.

This arrangement will allow you to carry two kayaks with a combined weight of up to 110 lbs. providing all other factors of vehicle cargo load are maintained. Please refer to your specific vehicles owners manual for information on weight and loading.
