Question:

will the yakima over haul hd kit work with the truck hero ts rails. these rails are also part of my bed cover which is a Truck Gear by line X hard folding cover. the only other ladder rack that I can find that fits it the truck hero elevate ladder rack t slot system but they are not available anywhere. please let me know if this yakima kit will fit with my current setup. 2018 GMC 2500 HD / AT 6.6 bed. thanks

I spoke with my contact at Yakima who tells me that they have not tested the adapter kit included with the # Y01151-5755 OverHaul tonneau cover to see if the adapter was compatible with the accessory slots.

After multiple attempts by both phone and email, I finally got somebody at Truck Gear to answer a phone call. They had zero knowledge about the product, and couldn't tell me if their product is compatible with the Yakima adapters included with the OverHaul # Y01151-5755. Let's just suffice it to say that I wasn't overly impressed with their operation.

The OverHaul # Y01151-5755 is compatible with the Retrax XR and the Pace Edwards UltraGroove mounting system, so that's what I'd recommend going with the Retrax ONE XR Hard Tonneau cover,
part # RTT-60462 which is known and tested to be compatible with the Yakima OverHaul system.
