Question:
I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze and was planning to add a trailer hitch which your company will provide. All trailer hitches that fit my car have a receiver size of 1 1/4 inches. My plan with the hitch is use it for a bicycle rack for my 2 e-bikes. My problem is that my two bikes are about 50 lbs each without batteries and the only bike racks that will carry that amount of weight have 2 receivers. Hollywood has one that is rated for 45 lbs. Do you have any suggestions on how I can carry my bikes?

The only trailer hitch options for a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze are class I with 1-1/4" opening. For this, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24882. This as you have come to find out limits the type of bike racks that can be used. The best option we have for e-bikes with a class I trailer hitch is the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # TH903202. It has a 65 lb per bike weight capacity.
