I have to replace a Shelby 5353 winch on a trailer. I know the company is out of business, so I was hoping you can recommend a direct replacement from your current offerings. Thank you

The Shelby Model 5353 Winch is a brake winch rated at 2,500 lbs. I recommend using the Fulton High-Performance Brake Winch part # F143201 for replacement which is also a brake winch rated at 2,500 lbs. The handle length will be the same for the two models as well so they are very similar. The only difference really is that the Fulton winch does not require a minimum load for activation or payout.
