Hello, I have a 2013 ram 1500 and need a brake controller for pulling a camper. I was told by dodge it has to be an oem model and programmed. All for $800 is there any that will work and not having to have it programmed

For your 2013 Ram 1500 we have a much less expensive option with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 908855 with the install harness part # 3023-P and you'd be set. This does not require any programming either.
