Question:

I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with magneride. I would like to get rid of the magneride and put bags on the rear. Any suggestions.

There is one option that will work with your 2016 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 with the MagneRide suspension, but since none of the other options have been tested on a 2016 GMC Sierra Denali 1500, and since removing the MagneRide is a pretty involved task due to it not being just replacing the shocks, but also having to come up with an electrical solution to get rid of the dash light and other issues caused by deleting the MagneRide I am not able to confirm if a standard air helper spring kit would work.

The option I recommend is adding the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59565 which are confirmed to fit with the MagneRide suspension and will still give you a 2000lb load leveling capacity when you are towing with your truck. This kit works with air pressure between 5-100 PSI allowing you to fine tune the pressure to the setting needed to level your truck.

To be able to control the air pressure in the Air Helper Springs without having to do it manually, I recommend installing the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL74000 which can adjust the air pressure with either the included remote or with your smartphone via Bluetooth.
