Mounting Thule HideAway Awning To Thule AeroBlade Crossbars.

Looking for best possible solutions to mount the Thule awning to my 2012 Volvo XC70 which has got raised rails and Thule Aeroblade Edge cross bars. The XC70 is not a tall wagon. Its height is just 53/1604mm, and Id like to have the awning deployed at a height of at least 510/1778mm. What can I do to mount the awning sturdily to the wagon? Thank you.

You will need to get this roof rack adapter # TH490001 for your Thule HideAway Awning # TH490010 or # TH490008. These adapters will allow you to clamp them around your Thule Aeroblade Edge Crossbars or mount via T-Track. Make sure that your crossbar spread is at least 36 inches apart. This system will lock your awning to your roof so you don't have to worry about it running off when you're not around.
