Does Disposable Propane Bottle Adapter Allow You To Use Smaller Propane Tank For Propane Supply

Item # 37207-30175 Will this help if i need to get propane out of the bottle or does it only work going into the bottle? I have a stove that only has a connector for a larger propane tank but i was wondering if this adapter would allow me to use propane from a smaller tank if necessary.

It is designed to allow you to switch your propane supply from a larger exchange propane tank to a 1lb propane tank should you need run out and need propane in a pinch.
