Question:
Any suggestions on how to achieve this torque spec or is it incorrect?

Expert Reply:
The torque spec you found on Curt's site is a typo. It should be 455 ft lbs of torque to tighten the nut of the hitch ball # C40088 and not 4,550 ft lbs.
