The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2020 Ram 1500 is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13419 which is super easy to install. It only requires three fasteners to attach and will provide a 6,000 lb gross trailer weigh rating. In regards to a brake controller, the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller part # RED44FR will be our best option and it offers plug-in play installation using the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness part # 331-TPH-020. The hidden install means the only thing you see is the control knob which gives a very factory-like appearance.
